Old Dockyard, Suomenlinna fort, Helsinki

Dockyards are places where ships are built. They are usually built ground up and once construction is complete, water is allowed inside the dockyard and the ship can float out into open water.

Saw one such small dockyard in Helsinki, inside Suomenlinna island. No active construction is happening here, but the dock is used as an exhibit to the visitors.
