Skywatch- Singapore Airforce rehearsals for SG50
For this week's skywatch, some pictures of Singapore Airforce aircrafts, practicing for 50th Anniversary celebrations.
We clicked these pictures near Mustafa centre. It was the evening time, so pictures are not the best possible, but watching the planes maneuver and do their rehearsal was a good treat to the eyes after we were done with shopping in the crowded Mustafa centre.
Singapore, though a small republic does maintain its own armed forces and airforce, just in case. Thankfully Singapore didn't have a need to go to war with neighbors since its independence from British, but in modern times, it is better to be safe than sorry. Singapore airforce has contributed in various international assignments.
The fighters were too fast and too far for the comfort of my zoom lens
Check my Aero India posts for more up close aircraft pictures-2013 Random pics * Wingwalkers stunt show * Sarang * 2015 Aero India pictures *
