Bangkok Grand Palace: Chakri Maha Prasat Hall
According to map of the Grand Palace complex, this particular building is called Chakri Maha Prasat Hall, one of the main buildings in the Grand Palace complex.
Chakri Maha Prasat Hall was built under the command of King Rama V. It has Thai style roofing on an otherwise modern structure. History of this place is already available on net, in detail on Wikipedia, so instead of repeating it, I suggest you read it up here
Ground floor has a small exhibition hall that displays armory of olden times. Entry inside main building is not allowed. This post primarily shares a set of pictures I clicked last July.
