1930's Singer Roadster-cute little car

During the annual Chennai-Pondy heritage car rally held mid feb, this car below got lots of eye balls. It is small car got lots of eyeballs. It had Singer written on it but I couldn't identify this car properly until  Mr Subbaiah Prithvinath identified it as the 1930s Singer Roadster.

Singers are mostly 2 seaters, including the one above. Cabin is just one fourth the length of the car, remaining 75% is used by engine and rear boot. This one is a convertible as well, with collapsible roof.

Singer got lots of attention from the crowd, compared to its peers being displayed nearby. I had to struggle to get some decent photo of the car.
